Let it out!
My new motto is "don't hold back." Think of doing a family portrait sitting like you would theatre make-up. You kind of have to exagerate your feelings of love or your strong family bond in order to really portray the mood in photos. It's hard to do if you can't let go, but if let loose, you'll love the results. These guys did a great job (it helped that they were in silly moods- you can tell that even in the "serious" photo, they were about to crack up).

These pictures are really terrific! I love the way this family was able to communicate fun and how bonded their family is, and you captured it in a way that doesn't look over exaggerated at all. Thanks for sharing!
